Hard posting, Education for children is difficult. Transfer policy is bad. Promotion policy is not good.

To much politics in day to day working. Transfer and posting is a business here. Bane raho Pagla kaam Karega gala is apt and most of the employee follow the saying.

...tmentally and get the work done with a team of 60 to 70 workmen round the clock. Good job security and salary.No time for politics.Got appreciation letters and cash award for innovation work.

As Hydro plants are in remote and in disturb area like J&K family life is very hard.

Excellent job security provided one does his work earnestly .Wok culture is ok and changes with working phase of the project. Management and project tram works in tandem for achieving targets.In the organisation we have transparent culture and management is supportive.we have a project monitoring and support group to see the work progress and provide the needed support for its accomplishment. Company policies have been framed Keeping in view the manpower growth and business growth after observing sll the statutory compliances. Over all emphasis is on time deliverance to meet the targets set aside by Govt. and organisation.. Company has bright future as there are number of hydro power projects yet to be harnessed.

Dislikes

Not much dislikes. Company main construction activities are in remote area which may be point of concern for some who like to serve in urban areas.

Basically in NHPC, Every employees feels safe and for his growth because of good human policies framed by NHPC from time to time, At the same time, employe is also giving his 100percent for the completion of Hydro Power Projects, Not She’ll, this company is excellent organisation in hydro sector in world.
