Job security is very good management won't lay off the employees.

...e of training there. Career Growth: If we talk about career growth is just zero. Salary: It's a 50% ok. Appraisal: This is very poor and not satisfied and even not in timely will get. Learning: this is also zero. The work environment is not so good and not bad. Work-life balance is very bad cuz employees r not getting many holidays and leaves here and even a few departments getting 2 days off in a week but few are only 1 day off.

A newsroom, mostly, resembles a battle field where every employee tasked with a responsibility is fiercely thriving to achieve it within deadline. The vibe is electric and spirit high. In close to 5 years at NEWS9, I've learnt the true meaning of a team, strength of team work and how team work makes impossible possible. In short, News9 has forged strong foundation values, professionalism of highest values and ethics. From a novice & frivolous post graduate to a motivated & challenge hungry employee...that's the world of difference News9 has brought about in me.

Dislikes

I would rather not put this across as dislikes. With limelight comes lion's share of responsibility with media. The extended working hours and weekly offs cancelled due to extra load of work has impacted my health leaving with very little time & space for my personal life. With close to 5 years of experience, I seek new challenges to reach new heights & widen my horizon of knowledge & capability.
