Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Its a flexible and a wish to grow company

Dislikes

...rainning that have increased my job security because i now have vast experience. Though my salary is not that what i expected but i think its going to grow since the company is growing. Politics has its own effects which are hindering growth. International sactions have crippled growth. Generally the working environment is conducive because of the open door policy.
