New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

For learning and knowledge New Swan is Heaven, But for growth and compensation it is hell.

New swan is a 2 wheeler parts manufacturing industry having press shop, Assembly shop, Fine blanking presses, automatic scada controlled plating plant and powder coating plant. Learning is very dynamic, if you are willing to work and learn then it is a perfect platform.

Dislikes

The only thing that I don't like is the salary timings....it is really unpredictable. Salary of current month is delayed by 20~30 days. Jan month salary received on 3-4 March. But it is for sure you will get the salary.

There is nothing to be liked about New Swan . Abusive Management, 1 month delayed salaries , no appraisal no promotion, unavailable of basic things .. Even sometimes staff don't get tea because of shortage of Sugar or milk . No soap in staff toilet due to lack of fund .

The Work Culture in New Swan Unit 2 is terrible. They do not provide any safety equipment to workers and engineers as well. I have experienced 2 accidents within a week and there was no proper action taken against it. Thank you
