Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

This company is open to innovate and readily adopts latest technologies. And I love the fact that i am a part of a team that markets reliable, high quality products and has a client base overall in India. Opportunity of visiting different industrial sectors , all kind of industries like sugar, textile, robotic, automobile, power grid, etc. And experiences a lot of projects at client location/field job. Able to understand level of automation took place by the help of PLC & SCADA system and role of CNC Machine in industries.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes we have to work in very harsh condition at field location.
