Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

There is nothing to like about the company.

Dislikes

I have worked at this company for 2 years and believe me it has been the worst experience in my corporate life especially because of the branch manager. He has no respect for women and threatens employees who he doesn't like. In this office, only girls are working and he doesn't want some of the women to work there so he immediately terminates them without any reason and puts blame on others related to harassment. There is no job security in Nerd Square Digital Solutions and I would recommend every one to stay away from this office. There is not a single thing to like about Nerd Square office and the worst person here is the branch manager and associate manager and her sister.
