Job security is very much weak.It is contractual agreement based job.10 months contract signed by employees July to April after 10 months re interview conducted by Navodaya vidyalaya samit.On basis of academic and interview a merit list prepared then shortlisted candidates call for joining.If in case any permanent employee has come in mid session there then contract employee will terminate.

There is no support . When lockdown got started from March to april they gave us salary but now they are not giving and not giving us rejoining. This is really shameful. Authority said you'll get rejoining once children come in school..

They don't care about their contractual employees. They always behave like we are not educated , they always do discrimination between permanent employee n contractual employees

Salary good for permanent position, no extra expenditure due to far away from town, three months leave with pay in a year , two years child care leave and free education in vidyalaya for permanent position staffs ,

Dislikes

Most are in remote area travel problem, I have to work 16 - 18 hrs , residential school , far away from the town , salary is not good and didn't get those benefits of permanent position staffs for contractual agreement staff

Dislikes

Round the clock busy schedule... More focus towards maintenence and repairing work of buildings. Labour, time and energy are utilised in safety & security issuses rather than academic.
