Salary is good, but work pressure is very high. There is lots of inner politics going on. Personal growth and skill development will be basically based on under which Scientists you will get to work. Person interested in marine geological or chemical research will find it as good place to work.
What i find attractive interning at CSIR-NIO Goa is the positive work culture, everyone is friendly and ready to help, collaborate and support each other. Scientist are willing to share their experience support and encouraging us to push our limit.
Open, relaed atmosphere to do research in, Great, experienced group of scientists and technical officers. Leading institutes in ocean sciences and applied sciences.
Extremely good training for research, good place to discover research aptitude. Good learning experience, well equipped labs, cutting edge research facilities.
Work life balance is lacking, collaboration between departments rarely exists paving ways to unhealthy competition.
