Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Some teachers are really good.

Dislikes

It doesn't have CBSE school culture. CBSE curriculum is not followed properly. Teachers are being forced to bring new admissions. Management is just disaster. Poor infrastructure as per fees is concerned. No focus on sports and cultural activities. No job security at all. Job is dependent on how much a person has good rapport with the Principal and management. Talent is given no priority.
