Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

MTD has Excellent trainers. Well skilled, experienced and knowledgeable. They do hard work and meet the expectations of the client and the trainees. They give industry standard trainings and all their trainings include case study that drives the trainees through the industry standard development and the tools. The programmers can leverage their skills and aim higher reaches.

Dislikes

MTD is not well reachable. The company head would be busy at training or work and their social media presence is low and their fabulous skills and talent are not available in public domain.
