MRVC is Navratna PSU. The salary and other perks are satisfactory but not equivalent as provided by Maharatna PSUs. The best thing about MRVC is it gives multiple learning opportunities.

There is no promotion policy for PEs.

...or its employees..they hire you on rough contract direct or through third party.provide least facilities and compensation.the office culture is also demoralising.its a struggle out there.the HR is worst n throughly unprofessional and shameless.my suggestion to good upcoming engineers out there ..if u need railways experience there are better railways PSUs out there..join them not this one..

Good staff, expert engineers, good work environment, very supportive seniors, Good place to learn.

Opportunity of growth is less. Apprenticeship is just for training they don't consider to appoint you even at junior level.

MRVC is good organization for learning about construction work. work load is nominal.

Dislikes

No job security, most time of day wasted in traveling by local train, if you are posted in field. No promotion policy for project engineers. some times you have to work late night and for 24 hours.
