New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Nothing, for freshers it is a good place to improve their skills.

Dislikes

The work pressure is high as we need to work on 2 or more projects simultaneously. No appreciation on work we are doing here only the team lead will get the appreciation bcoz he is handling the project. No work-life balance. There are no specific rules here Management follows 'my company my rules'. No job security. If you are experienced then there is no career growth. The appraisal is very bad. The project deadline was set by the management although they don't know the requirement of the client as well as they did not even discuss the timeline with the senior leads. Also, no benefits provided by the company.

I am working at Msewa for more than 1Year. You will get lots to learn and explore new things. The working culture is good. Team members are supportive. Management is also very supportive. Daily you will get new things to learn which is very interesting.
