I love working from this mining and I advise anyone out there to come and work with us... Corona virus yes as come and it is attacking everyone but here in mopani, the countermeasures has been put in place, the company as provide the sanitizers, masks and distances apart in preventing the padamic are taking seriously. So far so good the company as not record any death caused by covid. So please Come all come.. Together we can build Zambia

Mopani is committed to reducing, or even eliminating fatalities and /or serious accidents, in its mining of copper and other minerals. Mopani takes responsibility of it's workers and contractor employees' safety, by ensuring proper PPE, and work procedures are adhered to.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are Fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of policies and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is good but career growth is slow. There's a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign.

There's a good system or good chain of command.Salaries are paid on time and the company has room to improve as well as the workers

Healthy safety is poor.Care for workers is not effect.Salariy scale and the gap between workmen and a senior staff pay scale.

Personally I have been taught alot and I like the fact you don't easily lose employment with an old way of managing workers and other things which isn't that bad with "okay" policies.

Dislikes

They don't know how to appreciate and motivate workers, no matter how hard working you may be, your efforts and sacrifices will never be seen and appreciated.
