Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Work environment is good. You won't have hectic tasks on a day to day schedule. Company has put relaxations on many rules that'll help the employees. Management too is very good except the Head office . Work Life balance is the best in here at MOBCO

Dislikes

Almost no career growth, appraisal for the entirety of your service. Salary package is competitive. Job security isn't great.
