... supportive and the management is transparent. There is huge scope for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

The only thing which could be liked is being in a group company with many business vertices. Apart from that, the actual work doesn't exist.

Dislikes

They do not reward employee as per their hard work and on average everyone is underpaid.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
