Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...ut their expectations are more for which our age will not allow to satisfy them. Salary is fixed . environment is good in the mids of students. But more politics in management level.Hence unable to cotinue .There is no carrier gwoth.

HoD was a versatile person, apart from that, the whole college was filled with nothing but ego
