Dislikes

Just glossy on the outside. There is no replacement for people who quit. Existing employees are burdened with extra work for years! Unreasonable demands. Employees are expected to work 24x7 on weekdays, weekends and leaves. Those who question are humiliated, targeted, tortured and deprived of a good rating.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
