New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

I joined this company on 18 March 2020 and the lockdown began on 22 March. and I had received a mail from the company owner side that as long as there is a lockdown, so the salary will credit, and as soon as the lockdown is over, 25% of the remaining salary and current month salary will credit. then all the employees said okay. but when the lockdown was over, he decided to did not pay the remaining 4-month salary and did not pay anyone. he giving a date, saying that he will pay the salary but till now one received a salary. so my advice is to never work with such a fake company and these people are probably thinking of close the company and running away. If anyone thinks this is a fake review so he can verify the company.
