Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I work with wonderful teammates who are hardworking and value team work.The organisation givesroom for personal growth and expansion thats why I was allowed to study for a Master of Science degree in Strategic Management to develop myself.

Dislikes

My salary is not ttractive and the country's economy crisis has not been helping.

we were discriminated about salary adjustment,because state workers earn more than the local workers, you would be on the same level and step but he gets more than you without any reason.what I know initially the state and local have the same scale.
