New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 12 - 14 hours straight in a day.Managers do not value an individuals' unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times.

...LA company ... Salary not credit at a fix time ..10-15 days late credit salary . nd so many absent per month from HR and salary deduction after resign the company after month salary not given of employee... Environment very bad of this company . Management not solve your issue

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 10-24 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

Food canteen is not good and sometimes there is a lot of pressure and no control of rejection , and a lot of pressure from the higher authorities on low level employees and also no maintain method and we'll culture just like big MNC companies
