The company work life balance is quite good however the managers and the AVP's are very bad with respect to some teams as they do not even allow to take the approved WFH and leaves with irrelevant explanation.

No limit on number of breaks you take, lean days are there. Incentive is now given on yearly basis that is 10% of fixed salary. Yearly appraisals are given between 5-10%. Other benefits are there such as token amounts on occasions such as marriage anniversary(2k Amazon voucher), birthdays(4k Amazon voucher), Sodexo voucher(1k) is given if awarded for exceptional performance. Joining gifts, Diwali gifts, year end gifts are given. Process parties/lunch/dinners are organised twice in a year.

Dislikes

Lot of internal politics. Senior management is least bothered about issues that you face if you are not someone who keeps on buttering your manager. Never discuss anything personal, it will be used against you.

somewhat boring work place. u r either completing the assigned work or going through LinkedIn or upskilling yourself. there is no engagement/fun activity on floor. Shift timings r us based only. there is hardly any 9 to 6 job here.

Working at metlife is a great experience for me, with job security and never found any such thing that can change my mind to switch the job. Its been 4 years with Metlife and many more to go happy to work with Metlife.

It's my opinion just a one thing that's a appraisal and the salary in hand.
