Dislikes

...Senior program managers and above have a very poor appetite of technical things. Pay hikes/revision is very poor. If you have joined at a good compensation then you are most likely to have no monetary growth for few years. They say absolutely ridiculous things to deny you a hike. Its really funny. Then comes the office politics, if you are the kind, who can stay humble under technically challenged managers and let them supersede your meticulously placed logical solutions/thoughts then you are up for a very bright future. However this will lead to your "daimlerization", in other words you will be left unfit for the market. To summaries, It's a great brand and will give you a very lucrative offer ("shikari ayega dana dalega") take it if you really don't have a choice.

This is equivalent to firms like Infosys or TCS just bit better pay and standards. Life is same, fight to get more projects work at offshore but now fight is internal to Daimler world.

Dislikes

Corporate politics and top management will enjoy the luxury cars without improving the business. There is no vision and you always have to obey your boss. No Career development. HR claims that they will not cross skill people if any specific tool/technology becomes obsolete and people at mid management / senior level will face difficulty in finding another project and eventually they will ask you to leave. thirty politics on top of all these.
