Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The Delhi branch is worst...the man who is leading this branch is very abusive and always prooved him right even he is wrong..he didn't listen to the people working there and suggest wrong methods ...what he knows is only the concepts which is repeated in nature and showed his English always that he can speak English good even if the candidate doesn't know that much...making making employee feel guilty...no job security..... jhooth bolke bahut sare sapne dikha ke naukri per bulaya jata h...or fir ye log uski bezzati k alawa kuch nahi karte....do not choose this branch...

Don't suggest to choose this company even for time pass u will be in depression soon.
