You will get good exposure

Dislikes

Company culture. Though the company is run by certified/ experienced coaches, there is no listening happening. There is no work life balance, and personal life of employees is never considered. Treatment of employees is at its worst. They shout at employees in meetings/ open forums, and behave like masters.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
