Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing here to like, pls don't join this company at all. No visionary leadership, No Strategy, just couple of young guys running this without having any business knowledge. Very poor leadership with hefty packages involved in just employee politics. No HR in the company so forget about culture, activities, and employee advocacy here.

Dislikes

Ewwww office with very bad infrastructure and location. Ewwww management. Ewwww policies. No timely salaries. Nothing in favor of employees. Leadership here haven't worked anywhere in big corporates so they don't anything about Strategy, Culture, Vision, Mission, lol also no finance head. Finance guys here don't even know gross margin formula. 12th pass guy will even have more excel knowledge than these folks.
