Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Very bad work culture and cheap people.

Dislikes

They hold the employees salary and also do not pay salary after resignation. Before joining the company keep some points in mind 1. They will not offer salary according to your knowledge. They define your salary and promise that they will increase "your salary after 3-6 months according to your performance" Don't get in trap, they will not give you appraisal. 2. They will said that you are in staff and Overtime salary will not given. You have to work after 9 hour duty and no money will be paid. 3. Keep in mind to get the offer letter (company stamps with signature) . 4. Get the joining letter in which your salary appraisal, notice period, pf esi all thing should be mentioned. 5. Never sign bond with them. 6. Last thing they can fire you any time😀
