SSL is part of a group company OHI which has very good culture and values employees relation and efforts. Unfortunately those group company values are never reflected in SSL due to its own hidden agenda and way of work.

Dislikes

Lacks employee empathy and valuing employees. Management uses all means of harrassment using indirect channels including pay cuts, unwanted escalations, demoralising genuine team effort to show management power, pre-plan and force work during holidays, forcing overtime without benefits and direct threats to job if employee confronts. All policies are made to exploit employees to the maximum. It is an ideal environment for those who don't have self respect and dignity.

Shoppers stop is a family, is a joke, they don't treat like that, they don't know how to respect, acknowledge old staff, they they care for staff, the person who is close to dm gets all benifits if he don't do hard work also, very worst...

It's good place to work under the supervision of sbi functionaries. Also though here product is of state bank of India but job responsibilities and working culture is similar to private organization.

Competition within own i.e. sbi MPST and SSL sales officers.

Main think is that increment is low but still good for our career . Every thik is good but every thik has a good side and bad .
