Great Work-Life balance. Your personal time is valued and respected. Stress-free environment. There are only two releases per year so there is no pressure of deadlines. Lot of freedom and flexibility , you get to define your own responsibilities. This however depends on your team and manager. The Bangalore office has excellent work culture in this aspect.

Dislikes

-Below market level compensation(~ 50th percentile) , especially for someone from Tier-I institutes(IIT, Top IIITs, Top NITs) with a computer science major. No RSU/ESOP/stock grants. Minuscule Bonus (StakeHolder Bonus ~ 7-8% ). Almost no perks and poor office amenities. The management/HR responsible for overseeing these aspects of compensation/perks/amenities etc. for India office are either incompetent or unethical. - No defined career progression, the only level after SWE/SDE is Senior SDE which can take anywhere between 3-5 yrs and does not have concrete milestones to measure your progress. - Development work moves at an extremely slow pace (Huge legacy C++ code base)

US teams treat the India teams like subordinates. Managers, HODs, have no interest in projects done by the India teams. Barely any recognition, but lots of criticism. Recognition is reserved for folks in the US office. India office folks regularly expected to login from home in the evenings after spending full days in office to accommodate US folks.

...are individual and not a group and you're given full responsibility and freedom. Also work timings are flexible with good pay. The products you work on are visible and that motivates people.

Dislikes

The training program isn't personalized so you have to learn a lot of things on your own. The managers are busy managing many projects and have hardly time to guide new joinees. The amenities in office hardly exist like food.

Likes

The company provides good opportunities for every individual to learn and build their career. Good teamwork and nice team collaboration for new initiatives for improvising the processes

Compensation is par to market, but growth is slow
