Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Everything I would say. My current job role and the job description matches exactly. I like coming to office everyday spending 1.5hrs on commute (office cab), which signifies I am happy with my job. Payscale, work-life, culture , food , facilities provided are top notch and above market standards.

Yearly appraisal hike is better than other tech hunt orgs.

My manager was very very poor and micromanagement kind of person- HRIT team manager, He does not know anything about the technology but usually he will come and ask 10 times a day abt the status of any kind of work even though he doesn't know anything. I left the organization because of only that person he doesn't know how to respect others. If I get a chance I will definitely give him a perfect lesson.
