Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

That was a fantastic time to work there, an atmosphere which is so imp in office my manager had maintained that balance with office employees, there is no partiality between any two different individuals, most important i guess to understand the opponent situation manager had that quality.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about maple.
