Because of they are the bench mark for caterpillar dealership. Provides Good learning and on the the job training skills to employees and also overall has a good safety culture and procedures in place.

They need to re-structure the salary grades and other bonuses

I like the training given to all employees on their field of jobs,job security is high,work environment is fine,given service awards.

Dislikes

Appraisal does not work though its done,all salary depends on overtime you do though we have 8working hours so if you don't do overtime....?. If you go on short or long leave it means you want take anything home by the end of month.

Likes

Mantrac Ghana creates a certain bond within team members. Also training and refresher courses makes employees feel wanted in the company. Every employees job security is assured, because the customers Mantrac deals with has sustainable growth, therefore redundancy not considered, though it can happen.

Dislikes

Salary, compensation and benefits discourages employees to work on a long term with the company. As a revenue generator, you cant show the fruit of your labour on the table throughout the month. In a way it affects your job security. Career growth is also not encouraged, even if you are the right man for the job with all the technical experience, without certificate, you get disqualified. So people want to leave the job and go to school to assist in their growth. Whiles those who sacrifice to stay on the are not recognized when the time comes. this creates lost of interest on the job. I withdrew from schooling to attend to jobs at the CRC for about 12-18 hours in a day throughout the week. But it didnt reflect in my appraisals, though my boss will appreciate my effort verbally and tell me he has to promote only 2 people in the year, and am a junior to some senior staff, therefore cant pass them on appraisal.
