I did not like the company at all.

Dislikes

It's a terrible place to work , lots of office polities between team leaders, they don't pay proper salary , they can even make a female worked work from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm . no security for a female working . the HR is worst lady. no proper behavior. The main reason for leaving my job from there is the HR's misbehave to my parents . they didn't even pay my salary for a month also

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
