Public sector company with a substantially better salary and pay structure in the Indian context. very competitive environment for newcomers as most of GET joined through GATE, a great place to learn. Being a refinery and adjacent petrochemical complex-learning pitch is subject to the department and reporting managers. If someone wants to learn and earn in the future, leveraging the learning from MRPL, it is advisable to leave the company within a period of 5-8 years.

Local dominance is evident inside management, low probability for growth tracks for outsiders until they reach middle management. Internal management is not very collaborative, resulting in a degradation of promotion policy in recent days. ONGC, being a parent company, treats MRPL as a 2nd class company, as it was taken over in early 2000 from Birla. So, ONGC policy and other benefits may not be very liable in this refinery.

Lack of manpower, some bosses always try to squeeze every ounce of energy out of you. Unhealthy environment to grow. Employee benefits are not upto the other PSU standard.

To acquire skill technical and other the place MRPL ,subsidiary of ONGC is great . One can learn various technical concepts and modern industrial technologies . Organisation staff ( technical and administrative ) are great . Being a oil refinery it has variety of process units and process equipment which can only be available in such a vast oil refinery. The only thing which shall be ensure is to provide jobs after getting a valuable training from such a great place , so that we can use our skills .
