My department was just starting at the time I joined. So, it was good work- life balance for me.

...ard to pick one. The management is pathetic, least educated and arrogant people. Every month they will deduct large sum of your salary, giving some kind of trivial reason. No one takes the responsiblity of their work and its just one man institution. Believe it or not there are no work rules there and as soon as they give you appointment letter, they treat you as servants of that institution. Worst part is they will give you least amount of leaves and can call you even on holidays. In my experience its been the most absurd work place for me. I worked there for 2 years, they dont know how to respect people.

...e. No environment for research. The attendance time slot is just 8:40 - 8:50 am. If you miss the attendance, your half salary is gone.

Dislikes

The university is administration-dominated, with no value for academics/academicians. The faculty hired is not qualified. One such example is Dr Vishal Verma (Anatomist). He doesn't know how to make a presentation. First-year students can present better than him. He has absolutely zero knowledge about his domain and keeps on repeating the same thing in the lecture. He maintains his terror in such a way that students get afraid of him because he has control over his marks. He could not even answer the queries of the first-year students. The student has no choice to complaint against him. No feedback policy for the faculty.

Job security, salary and promotion are the only good thing here.

Dislikes

Too much internal politics, no one listens to your complaint, you are treated like trash if your ideas don't align, you are not allowed to even do your job properly, treat people from other states like outsiders, students are taught internal politics from the beginning, from security staff to dean everyone is dipped in internal politics,even canteen, mess, drivers, everyone. Be careful if you want to apply for job here.

Timely salary, 2nd and 4th Saturday off, 10 CL, 10 medical, 10 academic leaves.... Maternity leave for 120 days...timely increment all are the perks being here.

Its just one man show and they are arrogant and doesnot give salary and experience certificate and on asking for the same they blackmail doctors
