Nothing, there's nothing to like about this company.

It's a terrible company to work for, u will get your salary at right time, but otherwise it's a bad company. No work culture, no Career growth. I am work here on same position for last 10years. Any ambitious person should not join this organisation, when there are ample of opportunities in MNCs. Engineers have to work in terrible conditions, no pollution norms r followed.

MahaGenCo is working in various types of power generation fields so there is lot more to learn if get chance to work at different departments and different sections.

Dislikes

Transfer policy of MahaGenco is not transparent enough and it is not favorable for the employees as well as for the generation plants.

Very good work environment, opportunities to grow. Management is very co-operative.

Dislikes

Pay and perks are at lower when compared with the peers in private as well as public sector like NTPC, POWER GRID, TATA POWER, TORRENT POWER ETC.

The company is one of the coal based plant of maharashtra state power generation company open to1970. I satisfied to this job so i love this job. I am work in turbine maintanance and it is releted my branch so get the maintanance of turbine auxillari.so i interested to employee of some other compny likely as other thermal power plant.

This is a semi govt company but the work culture here is very good. It's very next to corporate culture in terms of workmanship , professionalism, etiquettes. There is great scope for learning and well supported by the training development section.
