Decision making process slow delegation of finial powers highly centralised work life balance good compensation. HPSEB is producing green power and supplying cheapest electricity to state consumers even being hilly state HPSEB achieved 100% electrification 30 years back in 1988

Govt company so job security, stardom and good pay comes along with it. Role is challenging hence helps to build many unique personality traits.

Dislikes

...rence in work culture along the company hence dont expect a culture of any kind. Field officers and office staff of similar post get similar pay. Hence for the ones who screw their work life balance and work 24x7 get paid same as those who work 9 to 5 and enjoy all official holidays. There is no formal human resource rotation policy to evacuate staff from hard working areas, company itself doesnt follow its own transfer policies. No field to office and office to field rotation like banks for staff who work continuously in public contact. Company itself doesnt care about organisational growth and performance imorovements. Exceptional work bonuses are often provided to ones who work at company head office only and field officers are ignored as non existent. Hence no job satisfaction.

Contractor dose not provide salary on time and even he dose not give information about our provident fund. No help from any employee of MSEB regarding salary.
