Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The job security and career growth is terrible here. no salary/appraisal is given even after 3 year work experience.

The college is in the hands of politics, no rule and conditions they are following, no one is getting their salary on time, salary will go in a trash if someone finds another opportunity and try to leave the job. no appraisal and no respect at all for teachers. very bad and poor status of college and the administration is very diplomatic and playing games time to time against female staff. no salary is paid full even after semester has been completed. worst college ever. also the college is not providing any experience letter to their employees after so many requests and no salary after leaving the job. They keep 2-3 months salary unpaid.
