Only the job location is in good area, nothing is good except this.

Dislikes

Core people of the company is based on fraud mindset. It is like a blackhole. Nothing will come out from there. Better to stay away from the company.

Work wise it was good. Academic writing was really great source of learning and so was contract management.

Dislikes

Team mates are okay however there's politics as well. Plenty of training and presentation provided. No security about job. Weird business strategies. Didn't pay salary during lockdown.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
