There is no job security in last 2 years they have fired lot of emplyees

Dislikes

2 or 3 people are running it under there dictatorship, there no value of ur work but the buttering have, hr tools are not powerfull hence few people who buttering to managers they get there salary for buttering only

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
