Likes

LIC & GIC are different organizations. LIC's business is Life Insurance and GICs business is Genral Insurance. Ofcourse both are good. Jobs in both are well secured. Work culture is good and co-operative. Management at all levels is suggestive and work oriented in friendly atmosphere. Policies are formulated for the welfare and beneficial to the esteemed policy holders. It's a boon to be associated With the gigantic Organization to work wholeheartedly.

Dislikes

No question of disliking, all are working happily.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
