Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Levana Group is a big company of Lucknow and dealing with Real Estate and Hospitality both. I am happy that I am a part of this group, a reliable and high quality product and international client base. I am glad to be a part of this group.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. Work pressure is very high, and some time I have to work 8-12 hours. Managers do not value an individual strength. Hence senior folkslike me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.
