Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Some management is very good but some are like hell. Politics is high. Top management has double face. They will very polite against you and back of you they are planning to firing you. All are ready to take initiative of your hard work. Job security is like......after working good one day you will receive call from HR your job is no more handover company asset your performance is down. If you will complain about this to management so they will also behind of you now. Chamchagiri hai full.....

Not a professionally managed company being part of a European Group, it runs linke family owned business, good practices being questioned and if you try to build some new, new initiatives never appreciated
