Even if there were anything to like (such as the lucrative pay), all of that is outweighed by the utter lack of ethics in the management and operations of the company.

Dislikes

The company is just a modern marketing sweatshop and my impression was that their practices are not only ethically questionable, but also outright devious. The company essentially plays a mediating/marketing agent between 'motivational speakers' and 'gurus' brokering slots for them at businesses and association events. So they employ cold mailers, telemarketers to contact these businesses relentlessly and sing praises of the clients (just imagine the quality of these 'business gurus' who have to resort to this duplicitous company to get themselves a venue) in hopes of getting their slice of the pie from both parties. They use fraudulent practices to procure running subscriptions from small businesses and refuse to respond to their queries or cancellation requests once securing a subscription. It is essentially an elaborate cold mailing machinery of a company. The founders, Mr Manish, a supposed Phd holder (he seems to use this as a badge of credibility to lure in clients ) and Mr Vivek, seemed to me to be ruthless and unethical in the way they treat the employees who are fired on their whims. Since it is registered in the US, it is beyond the scope of Indian labor laws and they can act with impunity. And they seem to prefer to hire female employees(I suppose it is because they are least likely to offer resistance to their almost bullying nature) over men. Overall a horrible experience I would like to expunge from my resume and memory.
