Generally, salary is above normal compensation package. Being a part of the organization is always a challenge from day to day. It is very conducive working with collaborative and professional employees all the way. For new engineers, you can easily grasp sense of responsibilities with a very supportive colleagues around you and it is tremendously fullfilling working together as well. All benefits upon contract signing are prioritized. I had worked under contractual job for two years and four months with flying colors. I have been dreaming to be employed again and if given another chance. Future will tell when it will be and when that perception happens, it is an honor. .

Dislikes

My dislike is employees like me was not given another opportunity to be transferred to another new project, despite working effeciently and professionally. The work tenure is unpredictable and no appropriate program for professional staffs after the completed project.

Colleague & senior was friendly. Salary on time. There was no tension regarding accomodation & travelling as I was project engineer.

As a project engineer Long working hours (12-14hr). Frequent job rotation between night & day shift. A lot of area to be managed by one. Unprofessional work culture

PLR not good for site team. Promotion also not good if you are working as a site engineer, since, promotion is depend on PLR points.

Promotions are largely determined by your relationship with the manager, and you're expected to always agree with their decisions (Manager Decision) , regardless of how much work you’re already handling. There’s little regard for the effort you put in; everything is considered urgent, and the expectation is that tasks be completed the same day, no matter how many hours it takes. Disagreeing with management can lead to workplace politics, which can result in delays or denials of things like timely leave or meals and harrassment. There is clear favoritism between permanent and contractual employees, especially when it comes to leave and accommodation. Site engineers and third-party employees are had to work at least 14 hours a day (despite HR policy stating 12 hours), including Sundays, without additional pay or leave adjustments. Office hours are strictly from 8:30 AM, with no official end time. Only your in-time is recorded by the employer, not your out-time. Cost-cutting measures are mostly applied to site staff, while managers enjoy all the benefits. The harsh reality of the company becomes apparent only after you join. This is the situation in the construction industry.

No week off, No leaves, Working all days in a week for 2-3 sunday working. No appraisal for deserving employees. Micromanagement from Project manager. No leaves for any festival. Working away from home. Working like a slavery. Strict timing for punching in. Daily Working 12-13 hours Minimum.
