Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Company has various functions through out the year, like family day, May day. Compensation wise they are above the market rate. Wide variety of works and pan India presence.

long working hours (8.00 AM to 8.00 PM), Saturdays working (2 Saturdays per month half day off). 12 leaves per year. Sick leave only on hospitalisation. Work from home expected even on leave / holidays. Recently because of Kaveri water issue there was was a complete shut down of Bangalore. Company deducted 1 day leave from all employees based in Bangalore for no show.

Basically all from Company Culture, no job security, no training & development, no processes, no freedom to bring new ideas, fear of talking, no strategy, changing goal post every day, no career growth, no value for senior experienced staff. no leadership by MD only dictatorship. The irony is that even Parent Company based out of Singapore don't interfere on what exactly happening. Also no meaning in the Tagline used by the company "Building with Integrity" where absolutely no integrity is being followed by the top man. It is better to avoid working in such companies.
