Nothing is likeable for this company .

Dislikes

Nothing is likeable for this company . For tax analyst they will give you a in hand salary of around 17 k and will make you work on every week end . Only on paper it is mentioned u have to work 5 days but in real they will make you work on every week end The behaviour of some of the managers are extremely rude . They don’t respect the analyst and they wouldn’t understand any situation . My experience is pathetic at the company .

The KPMG experience is very team specific. Since I was part of a small team I had the opportunity to learn a lot from administrative/managerial elements to technical work.

Dislikes

...alance. But worse was a general apathy of leadership regarding employee welfare. Salary was not commensurate to the range of activities accomplished. Also there is limited growth opportunity from knowledge perspective - Manager onwards it's only about targets, elbow room to try out other areas is very limited. Result is a rather toxic environ and a more sales like orientation than a knowledge oriented one.

Likes

...professional environment. You get deserving appreciation verbally or via awards. Compensation and hikes are really good. One can't complain on those fronts.

Dislikes

Domestic client has its merits and demerits. Domestic clients usually try to avoid meetings during requirements gathering phase. They do not cooperate much during the implementation phase. Post go live they come up with issues and excuses to avoid payment. And that pressure completely comes on the team. The director and associate director generally take sides of client to pacify them since they also need money but this system is completely flawed. Due to this sales oriented attitude, if anyone even wants to give a good solution, won't be able to. For technical people KPMG is not good as senior consultant. You don't get much scope to grow since you are expected to bring leads instead of deciding whether to use REST or SOAP.

Bonus, Work-life balance when you get a good mnc client, Office culture, Open minded people.

Dislikes

Non deserving people getting promotions, skills are not respected, only in which project you are tagged is. It's hell when people are on bench. Nobody supports, you are on your own - no hand holding, no mentorship, no trainings, no shadowing anyone, no guidance.

...t's a lala company all partners are mini lalas. No rules are applicable to them. Top heavy org and do not pay very well. The big 4 name doesn't fly anymore
