I have worked with good colleagues. Scope of career growth is stagnant.Salary was not in accordance with the responsibility and risk factor.Politics was very much there as it is prevalent in other organisations.Learnt a lot of positive things. Work environment was good. Not much scope of innovation. Balanced it at the cost of social and family life.

Dislikes

I never regret tat I had worked in Kolkata Police.

Govt. Job is the best job . Training is very hard but excellent to maintain the life. Job is secure. Growth is very slow . Middle category. Staff can not be grow . If middle man try to innovate any thing but without credit.

Dislikes

I did not dislike the govt. Job but deprived by system. My work is value less before the boss. No any suggestions advised by boss but punishment will be ready.

Total loss. Its better to remain unemployed than joining police department in India.

Dislikes

Joining police is like the last resort of the scoundrel. One could excel much better in any other job than police. No development. No satisfaction at all.
