Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Dislikes

Recently this company ventured into manufacturing by acquiring a financially sick company in Pune. However, the decision went wrong due to lack of manufacturing experience and poor market intelligence, since the company is basically into international trading. This benefitted the old management of the acquired company who have taken the new company KSPL for a ride misleading them to many unwanted investments without completing the acquisition process and not transferring the ownership till date.
