The faculties,the patient load,the variety of cases,the quality of treatment,the exposure to wide range of academic activities

The compensation is way too poor for the current job market.again paid leaves are very less compared to other government set ups

It is an excellent place to learn and improve and polish one s ability to manage patients . Being a govt institution , job security is excellent , Fixed duty hours is an excellent advantage.

Dislikes

Growth up rhe ladder is slow , salary ( being govt based ) is slow to move , lack of environment for innovation since we are busy doing clinical work are things which are essentially well known about govt institutions ; So it is not exactly a " dislike " ..

Likes

Patient exposure and workload was so varied and interesting. Rare cases seen. Seniors were encouraging about hands-on work

Dislikes

For me, travelling was an issue. KEM's proposal section (administrative clerks) are not very forthcoming about information regarding the post.
