Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The property has potential to make good profits

Dislikes

The directors are very immature without any work experience, they lack patience. Behaviour of the directors is very bad and they don't give respect to their executives. One of the director shows himself local goon / thug and all the time threatens people in the name of Assam Chief Ministers. Pathetic company to work in. Anyone who joins there will spoil his future carrier. They cheat executives with their salaries also.
